#7 Duathlon Day
Lorraine organises a mountain bike duathlon (run-bike-run) in Cirencester Park. I volunteered to be a volunteer! So with multi layers of winter clothing we all tried not to get frost bite as 250 competitors kept slightly warmer going round the course. Fortunately it didn't rain (small flurries of snow, though) and we all survived :-)
#6 Super Saturday
Jay and I had a v pleasant day. First to Cannon Gym for some exercise (indoor rowing, running and then into the swimming pool).
Then to Chelsea FC. We had tickets courtesy of Les (Jay's boss) in super duper seats and prematch lunch included. Chelsea beat Portsmouth 2 - 0 so most everyone was happy.
After that, to Paddington to catch a train to Swindon and stay with Kev & Lorraine.

#4 Snow!
Flew from Alicante to London. England is very cold! In fact its snowing!
Was picked up at the airport by my good friend John Lunt, had a tour of his office, made myself useful stuffing envelopes for him and then off to catch a train to north London to visit mum who lives in Muswell Hill. She said it was too cold to go out to eat so we had home cooking :-)
This morning, going through the secuity check in Alicante my mobile phone fell out of an outside pocket on my bag and I would have have lost it except a passenger behind noticed it fall through the rollers and called me back. There was a net hanging underneath to catch stuff, so this must happen quite often. Anyway I was lucky not to lose it. Thanks again Mr Passenger.
